Cleaning the Glass Cooktop
Burned-On Residue
Allow the cooktop to cool.
After scraping with the razor scraper, spread a few drops of CERAMA BRYTE
®
Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner on the entir
burned residue area. Use the CERAMA BRYTE
®
Cleaning Pad to remove any remaining residue.
Damage from Sugary Spills and Melted Plastic
Sugary spillovers (such as jellies, fudge, candy, syrups)
or melted plastics can cause pitting of the surface
your cooktop unless the spill is removed while still hot.
Wearing an oven mitt:
a. Use a single-edge razor blade scraper (CERAMA
BRYTE
®
Ceramic Cooktop Scraper) to move the spill
to a cool area on the cooktop.
Remove the spill with paper towels.

Using the Warming Zone and Warming Drawer
(some models)
WARNING
FOOD POISON HAZARD:
Bacteria may grow in food at temperatures below 140°F.
Always start with hot food. Do not use warm setting to heat cold food.
Do not use warm setting for more than 2 hours.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in foodborne illness.
The warming zone is located at the back center of
cooktop.
Turn the warming zone on to a HI, MED, or LOW setting.
A surface on indicator light will illuminate when any
unit is turned on.
