CAUSE OF STATUS INDICATION
-07
Accelerator input speed too low on
power up after initial key switch
closure.
This status code will be displayed when the
accelerator input voltage at P7 is 0.7 volts less than
the zero speed auto calibration value for the
accelerator.

SYMPTOM
Control will not operate when accelerator pedal
is depressed or status code -07 is displayed then
disappears when the vehicle starts to accelerate.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Accelerator input mis-adjusted or defective.
Open circuit between battery negative and P7 in
accelerator input circuit.
•
Check for broken wires or loose connections
or open potentiometer / voltage supply.
Short circuit from battery positive to wiring in
accelerator input circuit.

This status code will be displayed when the
accelerator input voltage at P7 is calling for greater
than 20% speed, and any of the following
connections are opened and closed: battery plug or
key switch.

SYMPTOM
Control will not operate.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Accelerator input mis-adjusted or defective.
•
Input voltage at P7 should be calling for
more than 20% speed. Adjust or replace
accelerator unit to insure that the voltage
at P7 is calling for less than 20% speed
before depressing pedal.
•
Repeat the auto calibration routine
outlined in Section 8 of this manual
•
P7 or the accelerator pot negative have
an open circuit.
