Fresh Food Fan Testing

The fresh food fan is located at the base of the fresh food air duct.

The fresh food evaporator cover must be removed to access the fan, but can easily be checked at the
electrical connector.

Remove the right vegetable bin. Removing the electrical cover (

) will expose the electrical connector (

) for

testing with a multi-meter.

The fresh food fan operates at 3 speeds

LOW SPEED = 2700 RPM*

MEDIUM SPEED = 3000 RPM*

HIGH SPEED = 3300 RPM*

Note: Fan speed range of 1500

–

4100 RPM is acceptable
