DigitalFlow™ XGS868i Programming Manual

C.2.2 Setting Up the Communications Port

Use the steps below to establish PanaView communications with the XGS868i.

Launch PanaView, as discussed in Chapter 3,

Initial Setup

, of the

PanaView User’s Manual

Open the

New Meter Browser

window in the

File

menu and expand the network tree. Then, highlight the

Computer (Name)

branch by clicking on it.

Pull down the

Edit

menu by clicking on it in the menu bar.

Click on the

New

menu option to select it, and a submenu opens with two choices on it (see Figure 32).
