10. Connect transfer switch “UTILITY 240 VAC” terminals
to generator’s “240 VAC” terminals using installer
supplied 300VAC or greater copper wire, minimum
#14 AWG conductors via two-pole connector supplied
with generator.
11 If generator is installed in an area regularly subjected
to temperatures below 40°F (4°C), select a 50 second
warm up time by removing jumper installed on JP2 on
transfer switch control board.
12. Connect essential circuit loads to appropriate circuit
breakers in transfer switch.
13. Tighten all wire connections/fasteners to torque values
specified on label inside enclosure.
• Torque generator connector plug screws to 7 in-lb
(7.9 Newton meter).

System Test
With the generator system switch in
AUTO
, turn the
50 Amp circuit breaker feeding the transfer switch to the
OFF
position. After a few minutes the generator will start
and the transfer switch will transfer essential loads to
generator power.
To return to utility power, turn the 50 Amp circuit breaker
feeding the transfer switch
ON
