Chapter 2

Cradle

Open Internet connection

If you have a DisplayKEY USB cradle that uses
an Internet connection on your computer to
connect to KIM, do the following:

1. Insert the installation CD into the

CD-ROM drive on your computer. The

DisplayKEY USB Cradle Setup Wizard

opens automatically. Follow the
onscreen instructions to install the cradle
software.

Note:

Windows XP users may encounter
one or more

Software Installation

Warning

messages during the

installation. Click

Continue Anyway

you encounter this message.

2. When prompted by the wizard, set up the

cradle. Insert the provided AC adapter
into the AC connector and plug the
cradle into an electrical outlet. Use the
provided USB cable to connect the
cradle to an open USB port on your
computer (see

Figure 5

on page 18).
