VESA Mounting Adapter
Installation Guide
Mounting Kit for 75/100mm VESA
®
Compatible Flat Panel Displays
The purpose of this guide is to:
1. Describe mounting a flat panel display with 75 x 75mm VESA mounting pattern (page 2).
2. Describe attachment of Mounting Adapter to 100 x 100mm mounting pattern (page 2).
3. Describe mounting of displays on VESA mounting plate and slide-on mounting plate (page 3).
4. Describe use of Nylon spacers to modify the mounting surface (page 3).

Selecting Mounting Hardware for the Display
WARNING:
This mounting kit provides an assortment of hardware for a wide variety of display-mounting
applications. It is the responsibility of the installer of this product to ensure that all screws used to mount the
display have a minimum thread engagement of four (4) 360º turns into threaded inserts in rear of display and
into threaded inserts in VESA Mounting Adapter. It is also the responsibility of the installer to ensure that
screws are not inserted too far into the display, causing damage to internal components. Failure to adhere to
this warning could result in damage to equipment or injury to patients or personnel.
Displays will typically fall into one of two following categories:
1. Displays with 75 x 75mm Mounting Pattern
Displays with a 75 x 75mm mounting pattern will be fastened directly to the VESA mounting plate but may require
spacers between housing and mounting plate (see
Using Nylon Spacers
on page 3). Select the appropriate length M4
screws (plus spacers if required) and follow applicable procedures on page 2 and 3.
2. Displays with 100 x 100mm Mounting Pattern
Displays with a 100 x 100mm mounting pattern require attachment of the VESA Mounting Adapter to the display
housing but may require spacers between housing and Mounting Adapter (see
Using Nylon Spacers
on page 3). The
VESA Mounting Adapter provides either a 75 x 75mm mounting pattern for attachment to a VESA Mounting Plate
(page 2), or a mounting interface for mounting the display on a slide-on Mounting Plate (page 3). Select the
appropriate length M4 screws (plus spacers if required) and follow applicable procedures on page 2 and 3.
