Instructions for Mounting the System
4.2.1
Installation Instructions
The device must be installed in the upright position 300mm (11.8 inches) above the floor on the bus.
Make sure that the panel is mounted perpendicular to the ground. As permittable by law, it should
cause no obstruction to the driver. The panel is recommended to be 400mm (15.7inches) away from the
top step and 1.1m (43.3inches) away from the door opening for best results.

Mounting
The two options available for panel mount are:

Mobile: The panel mounts on school buses, transit buses, trains etc.

Mobile Pole Mount
o
Pedestal Mount

Fixed-site: The panel mounts in offices, schools, buildings etc.
o
Fixed-site Pole Mount
o
Desktop Mount

Mobile Panel Mount
Mobile Pole Mount:
The panel can be mounted beside the driver on a 457mm (18 inches) long black
steel pole that is welded on a foot base above the floor.
