Pre-Defined Tea Programs
The appliance offers 5 pre-defined tea programs with optimized temperature and
steeping time for the dedicated types of tea (see the following table). Before starting
the selected program, you may change the pre-defined values as you like. In this
case, operation is performed according to your settings.
NOTE
Any new entered values will be lost, when calling up another program,
and the
pre-defined settings are active again. When using the pre-defined tea programs,
you need to enter your individual values again, before starting the program. If you
wish to use your settings later on again, you should select a user-defined program
(see below: ‘User-Defined Programs’).

giving a mild taste and stimulating effect.

Frequently used types of herbs (camomi-
le, mint, fennel, lemon balm), dried fruit,
Rooibos.
OOLONG 95°C / 203°F 6 minutes
Oolong tea; black tea may have a calming
effect, and could get somewhat bitter.
WHITE 70°C / 158°F 9 minutes
Very low fermented types of tea, sensitive
types of herbs.
User-Defined Programs
With the user-defined programs 1 to 4 you can select temperature and steeping time
as you like. In opposite to the pre-defined tea programs, the appliance keeps your
settings permanently in memory. When recalling the user-defined program later on,
your previously set values will be active already. Therefore, you can start the pro-
gram without making any further entries.
