Problem
Reason
The Solution
The motor is slow-
ing down consi-
derably during
operation or stalls.
The mixture in the
blender jug is too
heavy.
Try the high speed ›2‹. Add some
liquid or reduce the amount of food in
the blender jug. Process your food in
portions.
Hard ingredients
block the blades.
Crush hard ingredients (e.g. nuts, hard
chocolate) before filling them into the
blender jug.
The motor stops
during working.
You cannot start
the motor again.
Switch OFF immediately (turn ON/OFF switch to ›0‹) to
avoid overheating. Then check the following items.
CAUTION:
Do not overload the motor via ingredients,
which are too hard or too large. Do not overfill the blender
jug. Process hard ingredients in portions. The appliance is
not suited for grinding nuts, hard chocolate or other very
hard ingredients.
The blender jug
is not assembled
completely and
correctly.
Assemble the blender jug according to
the instructions in section ‘Assembling
the Blender Jug’.
The blades are
blocked.
Remove the blender jug from the motor
base and remove the obstacle using
wooden or plastic cooking utensils.
However, do not use violence to avoid
damage to the blade assembly.
The load is too
hard or too heavy.
Crush very hard ingredients (e.g. nuts,
hard chocolate) before filling them into
the blender jug. Add some liquid or
take out a part of the mixture in the
blender jug. Process your food in porti-
ons. Try speed setting ›2‹.
