Match Lighting
A match lighting hole is located on the left side
of the firebox.
1. Read all instructions before lighting.
2. Open lid during lighting, and keep open during use.
3. Make sure the gas control knob is in “OFF” position.
4. Unfold side tables into the open position.
5. Strike a long match and position the burning match
through the match lighting hole in the firebox bottom.
Place the flame near the bottom edge of the burner.
6. Push down and turn the burner control knob counter-
clockwise to the high setting.
7. The burner should light. The flame will carry around the
burner. Allow grill to pre-heat with the grill lid closed for
2-3 minutes before cooking.

Failure to do so may result in improper use of the
BBQ and cause property damage, serious personal
injury,or even death.
1. Read all instructions before lighting.

5. Push the gas control knob and quickly turn
counter-clockwise to “HIGH” position. The igniter will
click and light the burner.
6. If ignition does not occur in 5 seconds, turn the gas
control knob off, wait 5 minutes, and repeat
steps 2 - 5.
If the burner does not light, turn the gas control knob off
and wait 5 minutes to let the gas clear before you try again.
LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. See “Lighting Instructions” section to light the BBQ.
2. To preheat: Turn BBQ on HIGH for about 8 minutes.
During the first use, you may notice a slight odour
caused by the curing of paint and parts.
Do not operate BBQ with any type of cover over
the BBQ grill.
3. After the 8-minute preheat period, place food onto the
cooking grill and cook as desired. Adjust temperature
using the control knob as needed.
Do not leave any utensils on the cooking grill
while it is hot.
4. When finished cooking, or when the canister/cylinder is
empty, turn the control knob to the OFF position and
remove the canister/cylinder as per instructions below.
5. Allow BBQ to cool before moving, disassembling, storing,
or cleaning.
Disconnect the Propane Fuel Canister
1. Ensure the control knob is in the OFF position and that
the BBQ is completely cool.
2. To disconnect the propane fuel canister, simply reverse
the connection instructions given in the “Connect to a
Propane Fuel canister” section.
Only change propane fuel canister outdoors or in
a well-ventilated place away from naked flames
and any other sources of ignition. Failing to do so
may result in fire or explosion causing property
damage, serious personal injury, or even death.
3. The canister may be disconnected even if some fuel
remains. When storing or transporting the BBQ, the
propane fuel canister must always be disconnected
and the canister cap must be put back on the screw-in
connection.
4. Dispose of propane fuel canister as per the instructions
printed on the canister. If there are no instructions on
how to dispose of the canister or you are unsure of
how to dispose of the canister, contact the place of
purchase for assistance.
Disconnect the LPG Cylinder
1. Turn the LPG cylinder valve off and wait for the flame
to go out. Then turn the appliance control valve off.
2. To disconnect the LPG Cylinder ensure the control knob is
in the OFF position and the BBQ is completely cool.
3. Simply reverse the connection instructions given in the
“Connect an LPG Cylinder’ section.
Only change LPG cylinder outdoors or in a
well-ventilated place away from naked flames and
any other sources of ignition. Failing to do so may
result in fire or explosion causing property damage,
serious personal injury, or even death.
4. The cylinder may be disconnected even if some fuel
remains. When storing or transporting the BBQ, the LPG
cylinder must always be disconnected.
Never Store your Gas Cylinder Indoors
If you store your barbecue indoors, ALWAYS disconnect
the gas cylinder first and store the cylinder safely outside.
Cylinders must be stored outdoors in a well ventilated
area out of reach of children, and must not be stored in a
building, garage or any other enclosed area.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Clean the BBQ
Turn the control knob to the OFF position and allow
the BBQ to cool down completely before cleaning.
Remove the canister/cylinder from the BBQ (refer to

Wash the grill and flame tamer with warm, soapy water
and a plastic scouring pad. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
DO NOT use steel wool, coarse scouring pads or
caustic/harsh/abrasive cleaners as this could damage.

Packing up
Cleaning
All cleaning and maintenance should be done when
BBQ has cooled down and with the canister/cylinder
disconnected.
DO NOT clean any part of the BBQ in a self-cleaning
oven. The extreme heat will damage the finish.
Burning-off the grill after every use about 15
minutes will keep excessive food residue from
building up.

BBQ surfaces can become very hot during use.
Allow cooking grill, lid, and body to cool down
completely before handling and cleaning.
Cleaning the Drip Tray
To avoid fat or grease dripping from the barbecue remove
and empty the drip tray after each use. A small amount of
water can be placed in the drip tray before use to help with
fat removal. Wait until the drip tray is cool to touch before
disposing of contents.
The drip tray should be washed periodically in a mild
detergent and warm water solution.
To avoid an
y flare-ups, it is recommended that
the drip tray be checked and emptied regularly.
Contents of the drip tray may be very hot during
cooking. If emptied during extended cooking
extreme caution should be taken and direct
contact by hand should be avoided at all times.
Allow to cool completely before disposing of the
contents.

2. Remove and clean out the drip tray (store under
grill).
3. Remove propane canister from regulator or remove
cylinder from hose. Ideally leave hose connected to
regulator.
4. Fold in both side shelves, and legs, and clip lid closed
for transporting.
