The Facilitator is presenting an idea/concept and describing how/why it is. By definition, it
would be one-sided, with only intermittent interruptions (ex. - a participant may ask for a
clarification, or refute a point)
Indicates that you write, draw, or graph on an appropriate medium, the points of an “ask”,
“explain”, or “discuss” action. In some instances, the participants may be the ones using the
chart.
One of the other possible follow-up actions to “ask”, this represents an opportunity to identify
feedback which confirms (or contradicts) a point previously made (or about to be made). This
icon, is typically supported by potential answers listed the FG.
Refers to an action that involves such medium an LCD projector, Overhead Projector,
TV/Video, etc. This includes charts, figures, graphics, and video interactions supporting a point.
Indicates a game, role-play, interaction, etc. Included are descriptive notes on what activity aids
are needed, how they are distributed, collected or manipulated, as well as any likely
impediments to the activity.
