Changing the text language does not change the
language of user-entered data or map data, such as street

Proximity Alerts Settings
NOTE:
You must have custom points of interest (POIs) loaded
for proximity points alerts to display.

This feature is not available in all areas.

: Sets the style of alert that plays when you approach
proximity points.
Alerts
: Sets the type of proximity points for which alerts are
played.
Wi-Fi Settings
To control music playback, RV HUB remote communicates with
the RV HUB dock using wi-fi technology. The music app does
not work if the remote does not have a wi-fi connection to the
dock. You can change the connection mode in the wi-fi settings.
By default, the dock broadcasts a wi-fi access point, and the
remote connects directly to the dock access point. This option is
recommended for most installations.
If your vehicle provides an existing w-fi network, you can
connect the dock and remote to the network, and the dock and
remote communicate over the network.

: Allows you to connect the remote to the dock
or to a wi-fi network.
RV HUB DOCK
: Allows you to connect the dock to a wi-fi
network or change the dock access point settings.
Connecting the Remote to the Dock Manually
By default, the remote connects to the dock automatically each
time you place it in the dock.

the remote successfully connects to the dock.
If the remote does not connect automatically, or if you lose the
connection, you can manually connect the remote and dock.

Connecting the Dock and Remote to a Wi-Fi Network

connect both the dock and the remote to the same network.

On some networks, it may not be possible to use this
configuration. If the remote cannot control the dock while both
devices are connected to your vehicle wi-fi network, you should
connect the remote using the dock access point (

Access Point Settings
You can change the settings for the dock access point.
While the remote is docked, select
Settings
>
Wi-Fi
>
RV HUB DOCK
, and set the mode switch at the top of the
screen to Access Point.
SSID
: Allows you to change the network name for the access
point.
PSK
: Sets the password for the access point. This field is
required if the Security setting is set to a value other than
None.
Security
: Sets the security mode for the access point. If the
security mode is set to None, a password is not required to
connect to the dock.
Advanced
: Allows you to set the country in which the access
point is operating and change the Wi-Fi channel the network
uses. Depending on your environment, changing to a less
congested channel can help to improve the quality of your
connection.
DHCP
: Allows you to set the start and end of the IP address
range used by the internal DHCP server, or disable the
DHCP server.
NOTE:
You should not change the DHCP settings unless it is
required for the local network and you have a thorough
knowledge of the local network configuration. Incorrect
DHCP settings can prevent the remote from connecting to
the dock. If the DHCP server is disabled, you must provide a
separate DHCP server or manually configure IP addresses
for all connected devices. If you have changed the
DHCP settings and the remote cannot connect to the dock,
you should reset the Wi-Fi settings to their factory default
values.

notifications.
Touch Sound
: Plays a sound when you touch some on-screen
objects, such as the keyboard.
Screen Lock Sound
: Plays a sound when you unlock the lock
screen.
TTS Solo
: Enables text-to-speech.
