9. Never remove the memory card while the camera

is recording to prevent damaged files.
10. The unit comes with 3M VHB™, an industrial-

strength double-sided adhesive tape that is hard to

break and leaves little residue. However, its adhesive

strength weakens after repeated removal. When re-

positioning the mount or installing it in a new location,

we recommend using a new adhesive pad.
It requires four times as much force to rip the adhesive

tape off from the front than it does to remove the tape

from the side, hence it is recommended to slowly peel

the tape off from the side in order to minimize dam-

age to window tinting and other glass treatments.
For certain brands of tinting, a small crack may reduce

its overall strength and make the rest more suscepti-

ble to damage. Once the VHB tape has been installed,

ripping it apart may damage window tinting; please

make sure to apply the tape on a surface where there

are no pre-existing cracks.
