(17) If the load fails do the steps that follow:
(a)
Push the inner knob to acknowledge the Load Fail prompt.
(b)
Push the LOAD key again.

LRU Replacement Software Upload Procedures
A.
Do the LRU software upload (Refer to Figure 510).
(1)
Use the applicable maintenance manual procedures to make sure that the LRU(s) have been
installed correctly.
(2)
Make sure that the G3000 system is in the software configuration mode using the base software
card. If necessary refer to Software Loading Configuration Mode.
(3)
On the GTC 1 touch the GDU CONTROLS button.
(a)
On the GTC 1, select the MFD button in the GDU CONTROLS button section of the page.
(4)
Turn the right inner knob on the GTC 1 to select the MAINTENANCE LOG on the MFD.
(5)
Push the clear softkey on the MFD.
(a)
The “Erase entire Maintenance Log?” prompt shows on the MFD.
(6)
On GTC 1 push the Enter button to clear the log.
(a)
Wait until “Clearing Log” no longer shows on the MFD before you continue the software
loading procedures.
(7)
On the GTC 1 do the steps in the sequence that follows:
(a)
Touch the GDU CONTROLS button.

Make sure that PFD1 is selected within the GDU CONTROLS button section of the
page.
(b)
Push the right inner knob to activate the cursor.
(c)
Turn the inner knob to highlight the 525B BASE CONFIGURATION line item in the GROUP
window.
(d)
Push the ENTER button to select this configuration.
NOTE:
If you select a model configuration that is different than what is currently installed
you will be prompted to confirm the selection.

After approximately one minute, make sure that the 'CESSNA MODEL 525B BASE
CONFIGURATION' is flashing under the ITEM window.
(e)
Turn the right inner knob to highlight CESSNA MODEL 525B BASE CONFIGURATION.
(f)
Push the ENTER button to select this model.

Make sure that the proper model is displayed in the ITEM window after the PRODUCT
window is populated with information.

Make sure that a list of software items are displayed in the PRODUCT window.
(8)
Push the CLR ALL line select key to remove all checkmarks from the display
(9)
On the GTC 1 do the steps that follow in this sequence:
(a)
Turn the inner knob to highlight the box of software and/or configuration that it is necessary
to be loaded for the respective LRU that was replaced (Refer to Figure 510).
NOTE:
Operating software is indicated by "S" and configuration software is indicated
by "C."
(b)
Push the ENTER button on the GTC 1 to select the checkbox.
(10) Do the above steps again to select all remaining software and configuration software necessary
to be uploaded.
(11) Select the LOAD line select key to install the configuration software.
NOTE:
Do not cancel a software load in progress. If a failure occurs, wait until the fail
message appears before you continue with the procedures.
(12) Monitor the upload status as follows:
(a)
Make sure that the UPLOAD COMPLETE window is displayed.
(b)
Touch the ENTER button on the GTC 1 to acknowledge the prompt.
