From the Maintenance page, select as follows: Maintenance page>CMC LOGS> [LH Service
Messages, RH Service Messages, etc.] for each of the other CMC folders.

For each of the remaining CMC folders select the FOLDER options and fill in Table 507 with the data
from CMC Folder [LH Service Messages, RH Service Messages, etc.] - OPTIONS GTC.

The Record Wireless Transmit Settings Procedure is complete.
H.
Continue with the Garmin G3000 Software Installation and Loading Completion Procedures or put the
Airplane Back to its Initial Condition.
9.
Software Loading Configuration Mode
A.
Set the G3000 system to the software loading configuration mode (Refer to Figure 503).
NOTE:
This section provides directions to place the G3000 Avionics System into software loading
configuration mode for baseline software uploading. The configuration mode is used to
load software and perform other various maintenance actions.
(1)
Do the Airplane Setup steps.
(2)
Disengage the circuit breakers on the right circuit breaker panel in the cockpit that follow:
•
L PFD
•
MFD
•
R PFD
•
L TOUCH CONTROL
•
R TOUCH CONTROL.
(3)
Make sure that the PFDs, GTCs and MFD are not energized.
(4)
Insert a SD loader card in the top slot of the L PFD.
(a)
Make sure that the SD loader card software part number is the correct version. Refer to
the airplane maintenance records.
(5)
Set the GTC 1 and the GTC 2 to the software configuration mode as follows:
(a)
Push and hold the GTC 1 right inner knob while you engage the L TOUCH CONTROL
circuit breaker.
(b)
Release the knob when the 'INITIALIZING SYSTEM' message is shown on the GTC.
(c)
Push and hold the GTC 2 right inner knob while you engage the R TOUCH CONTROL
circuit breaker.
(d)
Release the knob when the 'INITIALIZING SYSTEM' message is shown on the GTC.
