Diagnostic Configuration Verification
(1)
If necessary, set the G3000 system to the software loading configuration mode.
Refer to
Software Loading Configuration Mode.
(2)
On the GTC 1, select MFD in the GDU CONTROLS button section of the page.
(3)
Rotate the right outer knob on GTC 1 to select the GDU tab on the MFD.
(4)
Rotate the right inner knob on the GTC 1 to scoll to the ALERT CONFIGURATION page on the
MFD.
(5)
Push the LOG softkey on the MFD.
(6)
Make sure that the CMC part number recorded earlier appears as ALERT #0.
(7)
Do the following steps for software versions 3.2 and later.
NOTE:
Earlier software loads are verified by the Configuration Number (CRC) check.
(a)
On the GTC 1, select PFD 1 in the GDU CONTROLS button section of the page
(b)
Rotate the right outer knob on GTC 1 select the SYSTEM TAB
(c)
Rotate the right inner knob on GTC 1 select the CONFIGURATION MANAGER page
(d)
Make sure that the following values in the FLEET ID column match the values below:

CMC ALERTS: DA4C9780
2
CMC TRIGGERS: E9B644C1
3
LOGGING: C6FDD00D
NOTE:
The values above are for CMC software part number 6308908-2. These
values will change if a different version of the CMC software is installed.
(8)
Remove the SD card from the L PFD, if installed.

Airplane Options Installation
A.
Upload the Options Software and Configuration Files.
(1)
Identify the options to load.
NOTE:
Some options are available on the Base Software Loader card while others are
located on individual “unlock” or "enablement" SD cards.
(2)
Make sure that the G3000 system is in the software loading configuration mode. If necessary
refer to Software Loading Configuration Mode procedures.
(3)
Make sure that the SD loader or unlock card is inserted in the L PFD top SD card slot.
NOTE:
The SD card must stay in the L PFD top SD slot for the entire upload procedure.
(4)
On the GTC 1, select PFD1 in the GDU CONTROLS button section of the page.
(5)
On the GTC 1, push the right inner knob.
(a)
The cursor is activated on the PFD.
(6)
On the GTC 1 do the steps that follow in this sequence:
(a)
On the GTC 1 rotate the inner knob to open the drop down box under the GROUP window
on the L PFD.
(b)
Highlight the desired option in the GROUP window.
(c)
Push the ENTER button on the GTC 1.
(d)
Turn the inner knob on the GTC 1 to open the drop down box under the ITEM window.
(e)
Highlight the desired option in the ITEM window.
(f)
Push the ENTER button on the GTC 1.
(g)
Make sure that a list of software items appears in the PRODUCT window.
(7)
Push the LOAD softkey on the L PFD to upload the option's software.
(8)
Do this procedure again to load each remaining option on the airplane as necessary.
•
If the base software loader card needs to be removed and replaced with an individual
unlock SD card do the procedure that follows:
•
Disengage the L PFD circuit breaker.
•
Remove the base software loader card.
•
Insert the unlock SD card.
