Do not use accessories with this machine that are not
those recommended by the manufacturer as the use
of non recommended accessories could cause severe
damages to the end user, those people in the vicinity
and to the machine itself.
Usage of the machine:
Start the machine following the instructions as per
points 6.3 and 6.4.
Feed the shredder with material by using the hopper.
If the material to be shredded does not have a
large volume the shredder will suction the material,
will shred it and will expel through the ejection
mouthpiece.
If you shred small material, use the pushing accessory
to move the small material nearer the blades. Never
push this small material with your hands or other parts
of your body.
Insert an adequate amount of material in the hopper.
Do not insert too much material as the machine will
block itself.
Caution: The material inserted in the hopper can
move around and whiplash as the blades suction
the material as well as small material can be
expulsed. Maintain an adequate security distance
and always wear protective goggles, ear protectors
and long gloves.
Check that the shredded material is ejected without
problems. If the shredded material accumulates
around the ejection area, stop the machine and clean
this area.
If you desire a finer shredding performance, you can
shred the material more than once.
Blockage of the shredder:
If too much material or if the material is too resistant,
the blades will not be able to cut and the shredder
will stop.
If when introducing material for shredding, you hear
strange noises, stop the machine immediately.
In these cases, you should:
1. Disconnect the machine from the mains.
2. Loosen the opening knob.
3. Open the top section of the shredder.
4. Clean and remove excess material from the hopper,
from the blades and from the ejection mouthpiece.
5. Check the blades for damage or on the blade holder.
a) If damages exist, you must repair these before
using again.
