Recommended kite knot
Slide pole over ground stake.
Connect rods
through loop as
shown.
If unusually high or gusting winds are forecast, the
kite should be taken down to avoid damage.
Splitring and swivel
Assemble the kite by
inserting rods into
pockets and rubber
connections.
BIRD SCARER
For fruit trees & fields
Angle pole so that the kite
hangs well clear to avoid
wrapping around the pole.
Angle the pole in the
opposite direction to
prevailing winds.
1.5 – 2 m above crop.
Kite
Drive the ground stake into ground to a depth
of approx. 50 cm with a rubber mallet.
Kites are supplied with approx. 2.5
m of line – adjust the line length so
the kite is about 1.5 – 2 m above
the crop.
Pull the cap from the up-
per end of the telescopic
launch pole, pull out
each section and twist
to lock in place.
