Attach the guard
Fig 2:
• Place the guard over the spool holder and push until it is in
position.
• Turn the guard in the direction as indicated with Arrow B until
the guard is secure.
• Fasten the guard with the screw
How to start stop the trimmer

To “switch on” the trimmer first press the safety button. Now you
can press the on / off trigger to switch on the trimmer.
To switch off the trimmer release the on / off trigger.
Extending the trimmer thread
When you need to to extend the trimmer thread, simply tap the
centre of the hub cap on the ground.
Fitting a new trimmer thread
• When you need to replace or fit new trimmer thread, remove
the plug from the power socket and proceed as follows.
• Twist the hub cap to the unlock position as indicated on the
markings.
• Remove the trimmer thread cartridge from the prop shaft and
either replace it with a new cartridge or wind on new 1.2 mm
thread.
• Pull 120 mm of thread from one end of the reel through the
hole in the hubcap and 120 mm of thread from the other end
through the second hole. Fit the cartridge making sure no
thread is trapped.
• Re-install the hub cap by twisting it to the lock position.
• Make sure it is secured.
