5. Troubleshooting
In case of any problems with the device, it is worth getting acquainted with the following
tips.
The device does not
power on.
Turn the switch to the ON position.
It's too bright for the twilight sensor to work
–
cover the solar
panel to check it.
Make sure that the device has been exposed to sunlight for
sufficient time.
Check that the solar panel is not dirty
–
this may prevent the
battery from charging.
The device produces
dim light or the light
goes out quickly.
The battery does not reach full charge. Provide the device with
adequate access to the sun
–
do not place it in shady places.
If problem persists, contact the technical service.
6. Cleaning and maintenance of the device
To extend the life of the device:
•
Clean the solar panel in the appliance regularly. To clean the panel and other parts
of the appliance, use a soft dampened and a thoroughly wrinkled cloth or paper
towel, then wipe the device dry.

Cleaning can only be carried out when the appliance is switched off.
•
Do not immerse the unit in water.
•
Do not use any sharp tools or aggressive cleaners, including concentrated
dishwashing liquids, lotions and scrubbing pastes, to clean heavy soils.

The device is marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage container, in
accordance with the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and
electronic equipment (WEEE). Products marked with this symbol should not be
disposed of or disposed of with other household waste after their time of use.
The user is obliged to dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment by
delivering it to the designated point at which such hazardous waste is recycled.
The accumulation of this type of waste in separate places and the proper process of its
recovery contribute to the protection of natural resources. Proper recycling of waste
electrical and electronic equipment has a beneficial effect on human health and the
environment. For information on where and how to dispose of waste electrical and
electronic equipment in an environmentally safe manner, the user should contact the
relevant local authority, waste collection point or point of sale where he purchased the
equipment.
