3.3 Cleaning, maintenance, transportation and storage

Before any work on the electric mower, remove the   plug..

3.3.1 Cleaning the mower

-

Regular cleaning after use will ensure a better functioning and greater life of the electric  mower.

-

Tilt the machine on its side and clean the cutting of grass remains off with a spatula and brush. Straighten the

mower on its wheels.
-

Clean grass catcher with a brush or water jet to keep the vents clear. Let it dry naturally and put it into place  later.

-

Clean the surface with a soft damp cloth. Never clean plastic with a chemical that might damage them.

3.3.2 Maintenance of the mower

Cutting  system

Before  and  after  each  use,  check  the  blade,  the  blade  bolts  and  cutter  assembly  are  not  worn  or  damaged.  A
deformed or  worn  blade  must  be  replaced.  Never  straighten  a  bent  blade.  When  the  blade  is  damaged,  replace
it  as  soon  as possible.
Use only original parts or approved by  SELLER.
Excessive  vibration  during  operation  of  the  machine  must  warn  you  because  it  comes  a  very  often  problem  with
the cutting system.

WARNING

:  Never  work  with  a  bent  or  damaged  blade,  because  it  generates  vibrations  and  may  cause  damage  to

the mower. Never work with excessively worn blade because you   might
hurt yourself.

WARNING

: It is better for security reasons, to entrust all the work (replacement and / or sharpening blades, repair of

the cutting system), a specialized  workshop.

Sharpen the  blade

For best results, make sharpen and balance the blade at least once a year by a specialist workshop.
Remove the  blade
Get yourself a pair of gloves to avoid injury when handling the blade.
Disconnect the plug and tilt the mower on its  side.
Loosen the screws holding the blade with a wrench while holding the blade firmly with one hand and stuck with a
plank of wood.

Install the  blade

Get yourself a pair of gloves to avoid injury when handling the blade.
Disconnect the plug and tilt the mower on its  side.
Ensure the cleanliness and condition of the blade support and screw   blade..
Place  the  blade  on  the  support,  cooling  fins  to  the  motor.  Check  the  alignment  of  the  blade  and  centering  pins  of
the support with the blade. The blade must be perfectly positioned on the   support.
Tighten the screw until it touches all parts. Make a final visual inspection of the alignment of all parts and tighten
screw firmly with a wrench while holding the blade with one hand and stuck with a plank of  wood.
