Demeter Potting Bench
The Demeter Potting Bench is perfect for starting your seeds in winter, potting up your outdoor planters in spring or using as an
additional table during your summer BBQ’s and outdoor parties. With its wheels and durable, lightweight construction, you can
easily roll this cart anywhere. The side walls keep the mess in your work space and the smooth bottom has a drainage hole allowing
you to direct unused soil and water into a bucket placed on the handy shelf below.
Parts List
Assembly
NOTE:
Assembly is easiest with two people.
Step 1.
Identify and organize all parts on a clean, level surface.
NOTE:
The Right Legs are
longer than the Left Legs and have plastic feet on the ends.
Step 2.
Lay the two Left Legs parallel to each other and insert the Axle into the bottom
holes on each leg (Figure 1).
Step 3.
Line up the holes in the Left Panel with the remaining holes in the Left Legs
(Figure 1). Insert four bolts through the lined up holes, with the heads of the bolts
on the outside.
NOTE:
The nuts have a flange or built-in washer on one side. When
attaching the nuts, place them so the flanges are against the Potting Bench.
Step 4.
Line up the holes in the Right Panel with the holes in the Right Legs. (Figure 2)
NOTE:
The Legs should be on the outside of the potting bench with the ledge on the
Right Panel facing in. Insert bolts into the two top sets of holes and loosely attach a nut
onto each one (Figure 3).
NOTE:
Do not insert bolts into the bottom sets of holes yet.
Step 5.
Line up the holes in the Handle with the bottom sets of holes in the Right Legs
and Right Panel (Figure 3). Insert bolts into both sets of holes, with the heads of the
bolts on the outside. Loosely attach a nut onto each bolt.
