Warranty / Service
GARDENA guarantees this product for 2 years
(starting from the date of purchase). This guarantee
covers all serious defects of the unit that can be
proved to be material or manufacturing faults.
Under warranty we will either replace the unit or
repair it free of charge if the following conditions
apply:
• The unit must have been handled properly and in
keeping with the requirements of the operating
instructions.
• The unit has not been damaged by cleaning with
water or chemicals.
• Neither the purchaser or a non-authorised third
party have attempted to repair the unit.
The blade is a wearing part and is not covered by the
guarantee.
This manufacturer’s guarantee does not affect the
user’s existing warranty claims against the dealer/
seller.
If a fault occurs with your Powermax 32 E
Lawnmower, please return the faulty unit together
with a copy of the receipt and a description of the
fault, with postage paid to one of the GARDENA
Service Centres listed on the back of these
operating instructions.
Environmental Information
• Awareness of the environment must be considered
when disposing of ‘end-of-life’ product.
• If necessary, contact your local authority for
disposal information.
The symbol on the product or on its packaging
indicates that this product may not be treated as
household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the
applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical
and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is
disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential
negative consequences for the environment and
human health, which could otherwise be caused by
inappropriate waste handling of this product. For
more detailed information about recycling of this
product, please contact your local council office, your
household waste disposal service or the shop where
you purchased the product.
Fault Finding Hints
Immediately disconnect from the mains electricity
supply.
Fails to Operate
1. Is the correct Starting procedure being followed?
See ‘To Start your Lawnmower’
2. Is the Power Turned On?
3. Check the fuse in the plug, if blown replace.
4. Fuse continues to blow?
Poor Grass Collection
1. Disconnect from the mains electricity supply.
2. Clean the outside of the air intakes, the discharge
chute and the underside of the deck.
3. Raise to a higher height of cut. See Cutting
Height Adjustment.
4. If poor collection persists?
Immediately disconnect from the mains electricity
supply
& consult your GARDENA Service Centre.
Excessive Vibration
1. Disconnect from the mains electricity supply.
2. Check that the blade is fitted correctly?
3. If the blade is damaged or worn, replace it with a
new one.
4. If vibration persists?
Immediately disconnect from the mains electricity
supply
& consult your GARDENA Service Centre.
Lawnmower becomes heavy to push
1. Disconnect from the mains electricity supply.
2. In long grass or uneven ground, the height of cut
should be raised to a higher position. See Cutting
Height Adjustment.
3. Check that the wheels can rotate freely.
4. If problem persists?
Immediately disconnect from the mains electricity
supply
& consult your GARDENA Service Centre.
Repairs may only be carried out by GARDENA
service centres or dealers authorised by
GARDENA.
