4. INSTALLATION
4.1. Installing the camera
Caution
!
Sealing gaps is recommended as gaps may appear after the camera installation.
Gaps may cause problems such as moisture, water leakage, and etc., which
negatively affect the operation of the camera if gaps appear but remain
unsealed.
Caution
!
To prevent products from damaging, place the camera on stable and
non-vibrating surfaces. If the stability is in doubt, consult with safety personnel
for reinforcements, and then proceed with the installation.
1)
Unscrew the three screws on the
camera’s main top, and detach the safety
ring from the camera’s main top.
2)
Twist the top counter-clockwise to
open it from the camera's main body, and
push the lever of the plastic cover under
the camera’s main top outward.
3)
Drop all the necessary cables through
the neck of the camera’s main top, and
then fix the camera’s main top to your
installed bracket or on the designated
spot.
4)
Connect all the necessary cables to
the LAN connector, power connector and
DI/DO terminal blocks if required. Then,
close the plastic cover of the connectors.
5)
Hook the safety ring to the camera's
main top while carefully holding the
camera's main body, and align the
triangle marks on the camera’s main top
and the main body.
6)
Twist the main body counter-
clockwise once the camera’s main top
and the main body are properly aligned,
and tighten the three screws on the top.
