Pin assignment of the RS232 plug
The devices of the
OperatorPanel
series provide an RS232 plug.
The following figure shows the pin assignments of the RS232plug:
The table shows how the different conduits of the data connection are assigned to
the according pins:

IMPORTANT:
Connect pin 9 only if the serial end device su5V DC (max.
100 mA) via RS232 interface.
NOTE:
Pins 1, 4 and 6 are not required for all applications.
Mind the end device’s pin assignments and leave unused pins unassigned!
