Installation
1. Use a power loop cable to connect one of the
compatible devices (12VDC/1,2 A) to one of
the twelve Power Out sockets.
Activate the high-power mode of a socket in the
web application (see separate manual) to con-
nect a device with a max. current consumption
of 2.4 A to this socket.
2. Connect one of the supplied power cables to the
Main Power socket.
Connect the power cable to a power outlet.
3. If necessary, connect one of the supplied power
cables to the Red. Power socket to establish a
redundant power supply.
Connect the power cable to a power outlet of another power circuit.
Startup
1. Switch on the power switch of the internal Main Power power pack.
2. Switch on the power switch of the internal Red. Power power pack.
NOTE:
The MultiPower-12-HP supplies up to six devices with 12 Volt. The maximum
power consumption permitted per device is 1.2 A.
After a port with
even number of a port group is switched off, the port with odd
number of this group can supply up to 2.4 A (high power).
NOTE:
After you turn on the central power supply, the internal services of the cen-
tral power supply are started.
Within approx. 60 seconds, the last switching states (on/off) of the individual
Power Out sockets are restored
