6. Care and maintenance
Do not expose the device to either extreme
temperatures, humidity, dust or direct
sunlight. Store the device at least 2 m from
sources of electromagnetic fi elds.
Handle the cu ff carefully and avoid all
types of stress through twisting or buck-
ling in order not to damage the sensitive
air-tight bubble.
Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do
not use gas, thinners or similar solvents.
Spots on the cu ff can be removed carefully
with a damp cloth and soapsuds. Do not
submerge the cu ff in water!
Handle the tube carefully. Keep the hose
away from sharp edges.
Do not drop and hit the monitor or treat it
roughly in any way.
Never open the monitor! Otherwise the
manufacturer’s calibration will be spoiled.
