12. Attach the two side wall panels (42) to the blind
frame by first hanging the panels from the top tier
of the frame using the two D-ring straps and hook
and loop straps along the top edge of the panel.
Wrap the straps around the frame and secure. DO
NOT FULLY TIGHTEN D-RING STRAPS AT THIS TIME.
SEE FIGURE 12 and DETAIL D. Refer to FIGURES 12A-
C for proper strap routing.
Next, bolt the (28) window poles to the blind
frame using two 1/4-20 X 1-1/2 IN bolts (49) and
1/4-20 nuts (56) for each pole. Pay attention to
the orientation of the poles. SEE FIGURE 12 and
DETAIL E. Pay attention to the orientation of the
bolts! The head of the bolt must be on the outside
of the frame. This helps prevent wear on the skin
when fully assembled.
Finish attaching the side wall panels (42) by
wrapping all the D-ring straps around the frame and
secure. DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN D-RING STRAPS
AT THIS TIME. START AT THE TOP AND WORK YOUR
WAY TO THE BOTTOM. SEE FIGURE 12.
Attach the angled door brace (37) on one end to
the previously installed window pole bolt and on
the other end to the (30) part using one 1/4-20 X
1-1/2 IN bolt (49) and 1/4-20 nut (56) as shown. SEE
FIGURE 12 and DETAIL F.
