Step 3:
Pull end of tree strap until strap is
snug around tree as shown in
Figure 2. Make sure V-brackets
are firmly against tree.
For cam buckle threading
instructions, refer to Figure 3.

Step 4:
While holding stick, apply downward
force to lock climbing stick in place.
WARNING! Always make sure
climbing stick is level! If climbing
stick is leaning forward, reposition
climbing stick or select different
tree.
Step 5:
Double check.
WARNING! Always check to
ensure climbing stick is secure
and properly attached to tree.
Always check to ensure tree strap
hook is attached to climbing stick
bracket.
Do not step onto climbing stick
until all 5 contact points (4 tree-V
brackets & 1 tree strap) are tight to
tree.
Pull
Always attach and
tighten tree strap / buckle
around tree.

WARNING! When climbing always maintain three points of contact (i.e. two feet and one hand or
two hands and one foot) whenever using this product. Never hurry! While climbing, make slow,
even movements and make sure you have proper contact with climbing sticks every time you
move.
WARNING! Always follow manufacturer's safety harness instructions. Use of full body harness
with lineman’s climbing strap is required to stabilize yourself to tree when installing, climbing
up/down climbing sticks and/or climbing into/out of hang-on treestand.
