Spectra™ Apheresis System •

Essentials Guide

Diagnostic failure prevents operation.

Alarm LED is red. Pumps and centrifuge stop. Return line valve
closes.

This alarm occurs when at least one alarm test fails and the operator
attempts to bypass the tests by starting the Run mode.

Disconnect Donor/Patient!

Warning LED is yellow.

To retry the donor disconnect test, press

CONTINUE

Diagnostic failure prevents operation.
Call Service or re-run Alarm Tests.

Probable Cause

Action

Run mode attempted after “ALARM TEST FAILED!”
message appeared

Discontinue the procedure.

If the alarm tests continue to fail, note the alarm message. Notify a qualified service technician of the alarm
message.

Disconnect Donor/Patient! Clamp access
and saline lines.
