Trace the wires from the detector to the main laser board shown in Figure 62.

Gently disconnect to connector to the detector from the main laser board.

Locate the fibre optic connector shown in Figure 63.

Disconnect the fibre optic connector by gently unscrewing it counter-clockwise.

If the fibre optic cable is wrapped around the Herriott cell, gently unwrap it.

Locate the bolts securing the Herriott cell to the component rail. See Figure 64.
