The steam jacketed ball valve must be installed on the process sample point

before mounting the oven cabinet. The Steam jacketed ball valve must remain

closed until the sample probe is installed and connected in the sample

handling oven

The oven cabinet should be mounted in a location where it is convenient to access to

make adjustments to the flow control valves as necessary and to lift off the oven cabinet

lid as required for maintenance procedures.

2.4.1.2 Mounting of the Control Cabinet

The framework of the control cabinet must be securely attached to a support structure at

the mounting site. The control cabinet must be mounted a distance away from the oven

cabinet such that the length of path for the fibre optic cables between the control cabinet

and the oven cabinet does not exceed 6 metres. The control cabinet should be mounted

in a location such that the display screen on the cabinet door is not mounted too high or

too low to be comfortably viewed by an operator, and also such that the cabinet door can

be opened to at least 90 degrees open. See Figure 3 for mounting details.
