II. DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE
A – electric kettle
A1 – water gauge A4 – lid lock button

B1 – ON/OFF button; 100 °C/KEEP WARM with a signal light
B2 – temperature setting button with a signal light

B4 – display with a signal light indicating the selected temperature and current water

* The control electronics ensures the appliance turns off automatically after the set
temperature or boil of water has been reached.
III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Remove all the packing material and take out the electric kettle with the stand. Remove all
possible adhesion foils, stick-on labels or paper from the appliance. Before the first use, fill
the electric kettle with clean water to the maximum level, turn it on and let the water boil.
Then pour out the water and repeat the procedure several times (at least five times).
APPLICATIONS
Unwind the necessary length of the power cord C2 from the storage space of the stand C .
Place the stand on a suitable surface, in the height of about 85 cm, out of reach of children
and incapacitated persons and plug the fork of the power cord to the electric socket (you
will hear a signal sound; the display will come on, the icons will flash briefly and the current
water temperature will be shown; the B1 button signal light is flashing).
Hold the kettle A on the handle A2 . Open the lid A3 by pressing the lock button A4 . Fill the
kettle with drinking water. Minimum and maximum water level is indicated by the watermark
A1 . Close the lid by snapping and position the kettle filled with water onto the removable
base C (you will hear a signal sound; the display will come on, the icons will flash briefly and
the current water temperature will be shown; the B1 button signal light is flashing). If there
is no action, the kettle will switch off automatically after a few moments (the temperature
displayed will disappear). If the kettle remains placed on the base C , the B1 button signal
light will remain flashing.
A) Water heating to 100°C
Press the button B1 to automatically switch on the kettle to a temperature of 100 °C; the
background colouring of the signal lights A5 will come on. By pressing the button B1
repeatedly, the kettle will switch off.
As soon as the required temperature is reached, the kettle will switch off.
