Follow grounding instruc Ɵ ons carefully.
The most e ff ec ve place for a ground system is in con nuously damp soil,
see illustra Ɵ on a) . For dry areas with poor condi ons, see illustra Ɵ on b) .
Install the ground system at least 33 from any power supply ground rod,
underground telephone or power cable. Drive one 6 ground rod into
the ground, un l only 2” remain above the ground.
Note:
Poor grounding can cause interference on telephone lines, radios and
televisions. This can be recognized by a clicking sound on telephones.
