Product Overview
RED ALERT
®
Hands-free WiFi VoIP Telephones are designed for connection to a wireless local area
network (WLAN) that meets the IEEE 802.11 b/g standard. These telephones will operate from an
external power source and provide direct point-to-point communications between personnel throughout
the facility over the existing WLAN.
Two WiFi VoIP telephones can be connected in an Ad-Hoc (peer-to-peer) configuration without the need
for a WLAN. However, a WLAN with SIP Server is required for systems containing three or more WiFi
VoIP telephones. Conferences are limited by the customer’s WLAN media capabilities and the services
available at each end point.
