Basic Operation – Model 256S Keypad Telephone
To Receive a Call
When the telephone rings:
1.
Open the door.
2.
Lift the handset.
3.
Converse with the caller.
4.
When finished, hang up the handset and close the door.
To Place a Call
To place a call using manual dialing:
1.
Open the door.
2.
Lift the handset.
3.
Dial the desired telephone number.
4.
Converse with the person answering the call.
5.
When finished, hang up the handset and close the door.
Basic Operation – Model 257S Auto-dial/Ring-down Phone
To Receive a Call
When the telephone rings:
1.
Open the door.
2.
Lift the handset.
3.
Converse with the caller.
4.
When finished, hang up the handset and close the door.
To Place a Call
To place an auto-dial or ring-down call:
1.
Open the door.
2.
Lift the handset.
The call is placed automatically from auto-dial memory or by the ring-down circuit.
3.
Converse with the person answering the call.
4.
When finished, hang up the handset.
