Cabinet Requirements
The minimum spaces that must be maintained when
installing the electric grill shall be:
The distance from the top of the cooktop to the
bottom of cabinets above can be reduced to 24" when
the bottom of the wood or metal cabinet is protected
by not less than ¼" (6.35 mm)-thick flame-retardant
millboard covered with not less than No. 28 MSG
sheet metal, 0.015 inch (0.4 mm) stainless steel,
0.024 inch (0.6 mm) aluminium or copper.

Stainless steel work sur faces: both work
sur faces must be permanently fitted on both
sides of the grill to protect the countertop when
the grill is installed separately.
When installed next to another Vario appliance,
a work sur face must be fitted on the opposite
side to protect the counter top.
When installed between two other Vario
appliances, no work surface is required.
