The thickness of the decorative doors is
governed by the kitchen front.
The IK 300 can now be secured in the row of
kitchen units.
Screw the IK 300 tightly to the built-in cupboards
using the hinges 7.
Fix the IK 300 with at least two screws on either
side of the appliance (see Fig. 14).
Dimensions of the Decorative Doors
The dimensions of the decorative doors are
shown in Fig. 15.
The overdimensions a and b depend on the
built-in furniture in your particular kitchen.
Dimension a indicates the length projecting
above the appliance.
Dimension b, on the other hand, indicates a base
gap of less than 180 mm.
Weight of decorative doors
The weight of the largest decorative door
(refrigerator) must not exceed 18 kg. This value
of 18 kg applies to the centre. If handles are
attached on the side, their weight must be
multiplied by 2.
Weight of decorative door +
weight of handle x 2 = < 18 kg.
Fitting Handles Designed for the Kitchen
The refrigerator doors require different opening
forces.
A force of 60 N has to be applied to open Door 1
of the refrigerator. In contrast, only half this force
is needed to open Doors 2 and 3.
The kitchen-specific handles must be designed
and fitted accordingly. The kitchen-specific
handles must be fitted on the decorative doors in
accordance with the fitting instructions.
Installing the Decorative Doors
