Always preheat the oven; our recipes indicate
whether you also have to heat up the roaster at the
same time.
Your roaster was cast from solid metal, a
manufacturing process that guarantees optimum,
even heat transfer. The heating up time is about 25
minutes. Therefore, switch on your oven before
beginning to prepare your food.
Beefburger à la Lindström
(Sweden)
Ingredients (for 4 to 6 persons)
1 onion
30 g butter
2 slices of pickled beetroot
1 pickled gherkin
500 g mince (ground meat)
100 g breadcrumbs
1 egg
Salt, pepper
20 g capers
Plug in the roaster’s heating element. Insert the
roaster in the first level from below. Set the oven to
the “Roaster” function and preheat to 200 °C.
Preparation
Finely chop the onion, the beetroot and the gherkin.
Steam the onion in butter to a glassy consistency.
Mix the mince with the other ingredients. Shape 8
to 10 flat beefburgers out of the mixture. Roast in
the preheated roaster for approx. 7 minutes on each
side.
Variant
Brown 4 beefburgers in the roaster. Just before the
cooking time ends, push them to one side, put
some fat in the roaster and fry 4 eggs as well.
(You can also fry the eggs on the hob.)
