STROKE LIMITER
-
INSTALLATION & REMOVAL
•
Note: Gage Bilt does not recommend using a pneumatic lubricator or adding pneumatic oil to the air inlet on our tools or powerunits.
Stroke limiters are designed for the protection of the operator and equipment. Failure to operate tool with a stroke limiter as required
will result in damage to the nose assembly or tool and may result in personal injury. If you are unsure your nose assembly requires a
stroke limiter, contact Gage Bilt.
An extra relief valve (for use when a long
-
stroke tool is required), is included with each tool.
1.
To install or remove stroke limiter (208112) on piston assembly (208111), see overhaul instructions (#1 thru #7) on pg.12.
2. To increase stroke to
.750” (19
mm), remove stroke limiter (208112) and relief valve (208109) from piston assembly (208111).
Install the extra relief valve (208110) (flats to rear of the tool) in the piston assembly (208111). Note positions and locations
shown below.
