CAUTION
● Objects such as dust, sediment, mist,
ice, snow, or sludge on the windshield
glass may block the view of the IFC,
and if this occurs, the systems such
as FCW, AEB, LDW and PDS may
be disabled. In this case, please wipe
the area around the IFC on the front
windshield or activate the A/C defrost/
defog function, and thereafter these
systems will return to be normal.
● The IFC cannot recognize obstacles or
short pedestrians other than the vehicles
and normal pedestrians.
● Before driving the vehicle, please check
whether there is any obstacle in the
area around the IFC.
● Keep the view of the IFC clear.
5.4.7 Tire pressure monitoring
system (TPMS)
The TPMS monitors pressure and temperature
of the tire, and displays them on the instrument
cluster. In case of tire anomalies such as low/
high pressure, rapid air leakage and high
temperature, the instrument cluster will display
an alarm message accordingly.
With the ignition switch in the “ON” position,
if the vehicle has not been used for more
than seven days or the battery has been
d i s c o n n e c t e d , t h e t i r e p r e s s u r e a n d
temperature will be displayed as “---” on the
instrument cluster, and after the vehicle speed
reaches above 25km/h, the real-time tire
pressure and temperature will be displayed on
the instrument cluster.
-
If the tire pressure is higher than 330Kpa,
the TPMS indicator lamp will come on,
and the alarm message reading high
tire pressure will be displayed on the
instrument cluster.
-
If the tire pressure is lower than 75% of
the normal set value, the TPMS indicator
lamp will come on and the alarm message
reading low tire pressure will be displayed
on the instrument cluster.
-
If the tire pressure continuously decreases
at a rate higher than the specification, the
TPMS indicator lamp will come on, and
the alarm message reading tire leakage
will be displayed on the instrument cluster.
-
If the tire temperature is higher than 85°C,
the TPMS indicator lamp will come on,
and the alarm message reading high
tire temperature will be displayed on the
instrument cluster.
CAUTION
● Some electronic add-ons may make the
TPMS unable to operate normally.
● After replacing the tire pressure sensor
or rotating the tires, you do not need to
go to the GAC Motor authorized shop
for re-learning and calibration, provided
that the tire pressure sensor is correctly
installed for the model, because the
TPMS can automatically complete the
learning and calibration in the next few
driving cycles.
