*If the default codes do not work they have been changed by previous installer. We
cannot default these codes and you must follow procedure with UTC to reset the panel.
Connecting ZP3 panel to Planner
On the panel
Panel Number
Select 3 [Setup] > 6 [System Configuration] > 1 [Panel Options] > 2 [Panel Numbers]
Panel number can also be changed
Software Version
Select 1 [Operator] > 2 [Reports to display] >2 [Software Version]
Panel Type
Panel type is best found by opening the door and counting the loops – it will be a
ZP3 EN4 either 1, 2 or 4 loop.
Set Z-Port 1 to work with Planner
Select 3 [Setup] > 6 [System Configuration]> 3 [Peripheral Comms] > 1 [Comms Parameters]
Set Protocol
Down arrow > Enter > Type 11 on number keys or use up/down arrows until display is [11] –
ZCP3 then enter.
Set Baud Rate
Down arrow > Enter > Up / Down arrows until you select 9600 > Escape > Home
Connect RS232 cable to port inside door of panel. Commissioning key must be
set to ON (test light will flash on panel front)
