3.3 Brief introduction to the camera and its functions
The camera UI in Figure 8 shows the
camera control panel
on the left side of the video window, the
measurement toolbar
at the top of the video window, the
camera control toolbar
at the bottom of
the video window, and the
autofocus control panel
on the right side of the video window.

When the mouse pointer is moved to the left side of the video window, the
camera control panel
opens automatically;

When the mouse pointer is moved to the bottom edge of the video window, the
camera control toolbar
opens automa-
tically;

When the mouse pointer is moved to the bottom edge of the video window, the
camera control toolbar
opens automati-
cally. Click the button
AF
to open the
autofocus control panel
for autofocus operation;

Moving the mouse pointer to the top edge of the video window opens the
measurement toolbar
for the calibration and
measurement processes. When the
Move / Fixed
button is clicked in of the
measurement toolbar
, the
measurement
toolbar
remains fixed in one position. In this case, the
camera control panel
does not open automatically, even if the
mouse pointer is moved to the left side of the video window. Only when the button in the
measurement toolbar
is
clicked to end the measurement process can other operations be carried out in the
camera control panel, autofocus con-
trol panel
or
camera control toolbar
. When a specific measurement object is selected during the measurement process, an
object position and attribute control bar
is displayed, which can be used to change the position and the
properties of the selected objects.
