Step 7

The 3 and 2 seater Split Motion Loungers 

will arrive as two seperate units, both with 

temporary plastic feet used to transport the

furniture (Fig 9. Circled in red)  in the

centre. These feet need to be replaced with the 

larger central support feet provided within the bag 

(see step 1)

Steps 7 - 11 apply to all Uniqa Models

The two seperate units will have to 

be attached via the brackets located 

on the armless sides (see Fig 11). 

There will be two on eitherside, 

one at the front and one towards

the back. The right hand unit will need 

to be pushed into the left hand unit to 

slide the brackets together. Ensure both 

brackets are secured before 

proceeding  

Connect the cables leading off into the transformer

and plug into power supply, then fully extend the motions 

using the controls located on the outside of both the arms.

To attach the centre foot, first locate the 

bolt hole, situated approximately 13cm away from 

the front of the sofa (Fig 15). Once located remove

the bolt from the metal bracket of the

centre foot and align the 

hole to the sofa. Feed the bolt through

one side through the units and into the 

opposite side of the bracket (Fig 16).

Tightly fasten the nut with a  spanner to secure 

the foot into place (Fig 17).

Once all feet have been attached

the sofa will now be ready to turn

onto its feet DO NOT PIVOT 

SOFA ON BACK FEET instead lift

weight of sofa off the floor and turn

onto its feet. Once the sofa is 

upright and in the desired

position replace all seat and back 

cushions.
