in good c ondi�on. Check this by m ea suring the re sis t ance with an accu rate ohmmet er b etween the
gr ound c onnec�ons a t the b rac k et / c onnec�on to the e x tr ac�on duct and suc�on h ead. The re sis tance
b etw een the suc�on h ead and the gr ound c onnec�on/air duct mus t not e x cee d 100 Ω .
The re sis tance v alue should be docume nted prefer ably in a log book to facilitate iden � f ying a
deteriora �on of the e xplosion p rot ec�on.
If the re sis t ance is no�c e ably highe r , the rea son f or this must be f ound by m ea suring the re sis tance
b etween the c onnec�on t o the equipme n t's g r ound and at di ff erent point s along the arm, s t ar�ng with
the suc�on h ead and s tep by s tep in towar ds the a � achment. The f ault sou rce wi ll be lo cated a s a re sult.
Replace def ec� ve component s with n ew , original s pare part s. Whe re ther e is the slig hte st doubt, contact
your n eare s t dealer or head o ffice.
In the event of re duc e d suc�on cap acity: check th a t damper is not clos e d, th at all c onnec�ons a r e �g ht
and that the f an is in a s a �s factor y c ondi�on.
