4.5.5.1 SIM lock
The PIN num ber can prevent the illegal use of y our SIM card. Enter the “ SIM Lock ” subm enu.
Floating bar register the current state, here y ou can m ake the following operates:

If SIM Loc k is Off , select “ ON ” and input PIN num ber to activate SIM Lock protection. The
next tim e when y ou turn on y our phone y ou will be asked for y our PIN num ber;

If your PIN num ber protection is currently in use, select “ Off ” to turn off the PIN num ber
protection.
Not e: If you successive ly input your PIN number three times incorrectly, your SIM card will
be loc ked. At this ti me you need the PUK number to unloc k the SIM car d. T he PIN number
and PUK number may have been provided to yo u toge ther with the SIM car d. If you do not
have it, please contact your network provider. T he default PIN number is us ually 1234. Y o u
shoul d change it to your own code as soon as poss ible.
4.5.5.2 Phone loc k
The Phone Lock can prevent the unauthorized use of y our m obile phone.
Enter the “
Phone Loc k ” subm enu. Here y ou can make the following operates:

If y our phone lock protection is currently inactive, select “ On ” to activate the phone lock
protection. The next time when y ou turn on y our phone y ou will be asked for y our phone loc k
code;

If your handset lock protection is currently in use, select “ Off ” to turn off the handset lock
protection;
Attention: The default phone lock code is 0000. You s houl d change it to your own code as
soon as poss ible.
4.5.5.3 Auto keypad loc k
A time select from 5 sec, 30sec, 1min and 5min , on standby, if y ou do nothing in the time of
setting, key pad will automatically lock. If y ou select “ None ”, that will cancel this func tion.
4.5.5.4 Change password
User is allowed to change PIN , PIN2 and Phone Lock Password .
If user want to change PIN , but SIM lock is not enabled, then user cannot change PIN , a popup
window shows “ PIN Loc k Must Be Enabled! ” along with an error tone.
Note: Password num ber m ust be m ore than 4 digits (include 4 digits) and maxim um 8 digits
4.5.6 Restore factory settings
Enter the “ Restore Factory Settings ” subm enu. Here y ou can restore the relevant
settings to the m anufacturer’s settings.
