7. Use “
Make
”, or “
Build
” to compile and link the project for available memory on flash-
device. The generated output files like the
*.mhx
file (Motorola S-Record) can be
found in the sub-folder
ABS
of the project folder.
8. Now, the application can be debugged, therefore, please have a look at the next
chapter. Or the generated
*.mhx
file (Motorola S-Record) can be programmed with
the flash programming utility into the internal Flash memory. Please keep in mind,
that therefore the mode pins have to be set to “Internal ROM Mode Vector”.
Note:
Always check the memory map of the linker settings and ensure
that this memory map is suitable for the application and target
system in use. Additionally the
*.mp1
file should be checked to
ensure correct settings.
Note:
The starter-kit is delivered with the mode pin settings for the
“Internal Vector Mode”.
If the application should be programmed into the internal Flash
memory, the mode pins have to be switched to the “Serial
Programming Mode”.
