Installing an external SCSI connection

Figure 47: Installing the connector in the server backplane

Plug the connector (A) of the connection cable into the corresponding
opening in the backplane.

Make sure the plug engages properly.

Connect the plug (B) of the connection cable (see

figure 46 on page 62

) to

the “SCSI B” connector on the system board.

Close the server, plug in the power plugs, and switch on the server as
described in the

chapter “Completion” on page 69
