6.4 Operating Advanced KVM Module

(PG-KVB103)

When the optional Advanced KVM module (PG-KVB103) is installed, the following

operations are enabled.

• Selecting and switching the Server Blade, and status display/setting of the Server

Blade by using Menu window

"6.4.1 OSCAR" (p.82)

• Operating the monitor of the Server Blade from the client computer

"6.4.2 Video Viewer/Virtual Media" (p.89)

• Connecting floppy disk or CD/DVD drives from the client computer

6.4.1 OSCAR

Using the On Screen Configuration and Activity Reporting (OSCAR) function enables you to switch the

Server Blade on the Menu window.

Also, Server Blade status can be displayed and set by using OSCAR.
